Students use Google docs to write their position papers on whether school should serve chocolate milk or white milk and share those essays on Google to get feedback from their teacher and peers!

Today our students celebrated college day at Montalvin! We celebrated this day by learning about different local and nationwide available to our students. We did career inventories to find out how students can use their likes and turn them into careers and students went on virtual campus tours. To celebrate we also raffled off 3 college T-shirts every hour of the day and enjoyed a delicious barbecue for lunch! All in all, it was an awesome day! Today our parents had Zumba an exercise class before our Coffee Tuesday monthly parent meeting. Thanks to the YES Organization that promotes health and wellness we were able to have Maria, a Zumba instructor come activate our parents with some fun cardio - check out the pictures! |
